Where do you keep your grated cheese?

Hopefully the freezer!! Usually if you want grated cheese its to melt with somethings so it doesn't really matter that it starts out frozen.  It keeps much longer and no going mouldy! Even you want even better value for money, buy a large block and grate it yourself - but if you are time poor like me, a little extra money is worth the time I save.

  1. Keep mine in the freezer too Ellen - love using grated cheese but don't use it often enough to keep in the fridge.

    As a side note, I put things in the freezer to stop food getting eaten "just because it's there". If I cook a cake on the weekend, I then cut it up into morning tea sized bits and freeze them. We can then take out a bit each morning and it'll last the week - if I was to put into a container on the bench it wouldn't last more then a day at my place!
